Harvey Walters has over 3 decades of experience in criminal law defence work and appears in all Courts, Commissions and Tribunals. He is North Queensland’s most eminent criminal law barrister undertaking a range of high-profile matters ranging from murder and manslaughter charges to historical sex matters and drug syndicate operations. 

He has extensive experience in trials, bail applications and sentencing at all levels of the criminal justice system including the Magistrates Court, Children’s Court, District Court and the Supreme Court.  Harvey has advised on and appeared in numerous appeals against conviction and/or sentence in the Queensland Court of Appeal and High Court of Australia.
