After graduating from Monash University in Melbourne, Renae returned to her home town of Townsville and commenced practising as a Family Law Solicitor in 2007. Having practised as a solicitor for over 13 years, Renae is a skilled negotiator and advocate. Renae applies her extensive experience and expertise to act assertively in negotiations, mediations and Court proceedings and applies a practical and realistic approach to her advocacy.

Renae obtained a Masters degree in Family Law and has been involved with not for profit organisations including the Townsville Hospital Research Ethics Committee, the Child Death Review Panel and being a Pyjama Angel for children in foster care.
